Top 8 Caribbean Travel Guide Bestsellers 2014: UK vs USA

It always surprises us here at ETG how different the popularity of Caribbean islands are between the UK and USA. For obvious reasons Cuba is bottom of the list for Americans due to entry restrictions, and would possibly be number one (as it is for the UK) if the ban were ever lifted. 


Antigua has always been for the UK, what Puerto Rico is to the USA, and it's no surprise to find them both at number two. Surprised by the fall in popularity this year of Barbados for both the UK and USA, we see a rise in travel guide sales to Trinidad for the UK and the Cayman Islands for the USA. The disappearance of Jamaica from both lists, could be a worrying sign for the Jamaican tourist board...or, could it be the tourists who love this island, already know exactly where they are going...
