In the Italian town of Rende, a world record attempt has just taken place...for the longest pizza! Yep, the Italians have proved once again that they are the true masters of pizza making. The Spanish town of Tomellaso has held the record since 2001, but pizza chefs in Italy have been on a mission to regain the title.
The 1.229-km-long pizza took 16 hours to create, using a special oven with a roller inside that allowed the pizza to be gradually pulled through for an even bake. Well done my Italian friends...
