Pope Francis on South America tour

Pope Francis will perform mass in front of a massive crowd of one million people in Ecuador, as he kicks off the first leg of his three-nation tour of South America. 

Open-air mass in Ecuador kicks off eight-day tour of South America which will see him visit Bolivia and Paraguay. Expected to deliver no fewer than 22 speeches and catch seven flights - covering a total distance of 15,000 miles. Pope Francis becomes the first pontiff in thirty years to visit Ecuador, where over a million have gathered for him.
