Hollywood superstar Jennifer Anniston reportedly has signed a lucrative deal to become the new face of Dubai-based airline Emirates.
By seeking a high-profile brand ambassador, Emirates would appear to be following in the footsteps of United Arab Emirates' rival Etihad. That carrier, based in Abu Dhabi, announced earlier this year that it had signed a deal with Nicole Kidman that would have the Australian star serve as the face of that airline.
Emirates is the largest carrier in the United Arab Emirates while Etihad is No. 2. Each has expanded rapidly during the past decade, and both are among the world's fast-growing carriers.
