World's happiest countries are all in South America for first time

The ten happiest countries in the world are all in South America for the first time in Gallup’s 10-year history assessing the world’s happiness.

Gallup questioned 153,000 people in 148 countries over the course of a year. Citizens in Paraguay, Columbia and Ecuador are most likely to experience positive emotions on a daily basis, while residents of Sudan, Tunisia and Bangladesh showed the lowest scores for positive emotions in 2014.
