2. Namibia
Botswana and Namibia: Fused together by epic landscapes, including Fish River Canyon, the Kalahari and the Okavango Delta, and some of the continent’s greatest concentration and diversity of wildlife, this is truly Africa.

4. Venice, Italy
Watch a Murano glass-blower practice his craft, stroll past stalls of tiny octopus and giant oysters at Rialto Market, or take a moonlit gondola ride past ancient palaces.
There’s no arguing the spellbinding potential of the Great Plain’s big-sky country, especially around Hortobágy and Kiskunság National Parks. And for graceful architecture and history try Szeged, Kecskemét and Debrecen, while Northeast Hungary is the place to go to experience village life.
6. Belize
Explore the ancient Maya site of Caracol, dive the world-renowned Blue Hole, or spot toucans in the wild.
7. Morocco
Morocco is one of the most diverse countries in Africa, with high mountains, sweeping desert, rugged coastline, and the winding alleyways of ancient medina cities and souqs.
8. Russia
The world’s largest country offers it all, from historic cities and idyllic countryside to artistic riches, epic train rides and vodka-fuelled nightlife.
The Great Ocean Road is one of Australia’s most famous road-touring routes, taking travellers past world-class surfing breaks, through pockets of rainforest, calm seaside towns and under koala-filled tree canopies.
Don’t be fooled by all the corn; behind it lurks surfing beaches and Tibetan temples, car-free islands and the night-lights of the aurora borealis. Dairy farms and orchards blanket the region, so fresh pie and ice cream await road-trippers.
