Eurowings takes off for Havana, Cuba

Eurowings has begun flying to a new destination, the Cuban capital of Havana.

An Airbus A330 of the quality low-cost carrier from the Lufthansa Group took off earlier on its inaugural flight from Cologne/Bonn to the Caribbean metropolis.

Along with Varadero, the airline’s first long-haul destination to which there have been flights three times a week since November 2015, Havana is Eurowings’s second travel destination on Cuba. This now makes the Cuban metropolis Eurowings’ eleventh long-haul destination.
