Virgin Atlantic to bring festive feast to skies

Customers jetting off with Virgin Atlantic this week can expect a festive feast in the sky – as the airline prepares to serve 27,000 Christmas dinners at 38,000ft.

Between December 24th-26th customers will be treated to a complimentary three course Christmas meal including turkey and all the trimmings.

Chefs at Virgin Atlantic began developing the seasonal inflight treat in June to help make travelling over Christmas more special.

In total Virgin Atlantic will serve up around 2,000 kilos of turkey, 100,000 sprouts, and 82,000 roast potatoes on board flights to the US, Africa, UAE and China.
