Lufthansa to offer long-haul flights from Berlin for first time since 2001

Lufthansa will be stationing a long-haul aircraft in Berlin for the first time since 2001, connecting Germany’s capital with New York.

Flights on this non-stop route will commence on November, 8th.

Lufthansa will offer the service five times a week – every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday – using an Airbus A330-300.

With this new flight, the Lufthansa Group will offer direct flights from the New York area to four destinations in Germany — Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf and Berlin.

Also in the upcoming winter 2017/18 timetable, which begins on October 28th, 2017, long-haul flights from Miami to Düsseldorf, Germany, will resume.
