What is the best time to visit NYC?

Let's face it, there is never a bad time to visit the Big Apple. NYC is a global destination and a city that is very high on most people's bucket list. There are, however, numerous factors to consider when planning a trip to the skyscraper capital of the world. Winter can be very cold, summer uncomfortably hot. Visit in September and you have the advantage of beating the summer holiday crowds. At this time of year, when the US Open is in full swing, temperatures are often pleasant and accommodation is more affordable than the peak months of the year.
