What's Free to do in NYC? Staten Island Ferry!

FREE!

The Staten Island Ferry is one of the last remaining vestiges of an entire ferry system in New York City that transported people between Manhattan and its future boroughs long before any bridges were built. The trip is about 25 minutes long, it doesn't cost a penny and there are great views of the Statue of Liberty. It operates from the St. George Terminal located at 1 Bay Street, Staten Island. The Whitehall Terminal is located at 4 South Street, Manhattan.
