Vevey will be popping more corks than ever in 2019 as the Fête des Vigneronscomes to town in July. Held just once every 20 years since the 18th century, this three-week wine festival is all about flamboyant costumed shows, cowbell-clanging parades, Alphorn concerts, and, if you find time, the chance to sample some divine local pinots and chasselas in pop-up stalls and open-door cellars.
