After researching the origins of life at particle accelerators, curiosity and a hunger for life drove Andreas Schöler to travel the world for many years. He combines tales of fascinating experiences in settings as diverse as ascetic meditation retreats, lonely lakes in the Rockies and crowded mud huts in West Africa with reflections on finding meaning and happiness in life. From founding a school for salsa in the Caribbean to picking fruit in Australia, he was on a constant search for the good life and what connects us as human beings.
