The summer is about to begin so why not fire up your car, campervan or motorcycle and head for Croatia. With a road that hugs the coast practically the entire length of the country, Croatia is a summer road trip paradise with endless deserted coves where you can pause along route and take a swim. Put your vehicle on a ferry and visit one of the many islands that are surrounded by the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic. There are hundreds of campgrounds in Croatia and affordable holiday rental apartments in most towns and villages along the coast. Visit the beautiful cities of Split, Zadar and Dubrovnik, or head inland and explore the mountainous interior that's home to bears and wolves!
