Greece saw its visitor numbers rise by 19% from January to August last year, according to World Travel Monitor, a global analysis of travel trends released by ITB Berlin and IPK International. ABTA’s Trends 2019 report also suggests that Greece will be a popular holiday destination this year – it says that bookings to Greece for Summer 2019 have increased by 6%.
